A 10 day-long event, locals spend months preparing food, decorations, and performances. However, by far the most anticipated event of the festival is the gladiatorial tournament, hosted by the Board of Gold, that takes place in the Saqiya, Halitas’s premier arena complex. To the victor goes the spoils, and the honor of having their name immortalized in the halls of the Saqiya forevermore. Thousands of challengers will enter the arena.
